Reservations are required for the dining room but not for the bar seating. The Thanksgiving menu will only be available to dining room guests, and the normal bar food menu will only be available to walk-in bar guests. We stayed at The Embers hotels, it was a perfect spot located downtown Blowing Rock, never needed to move our car. Walked to all the shops and even Bass Lake to walking trails. Hotel and dinning staff were all very friendly. Dinner was great, we make a great filet at home and this one could definitely hold its own! Breakfast was also yummy, highly recommend the grit skillet!!

We had a wonderful meal at the Embers. The service was extraordinary and the food was excellent. The restaurant manager stopped at our table each evening to ensure all was well. We will be back!

Food and service was great! Our server Addy was really knowledgeable and recommended a few dishes that we tried. Her recommendations were spot on and great. We look forward to returning!!

Went to the Embers for date night with my wife. I had the short rib and she had the trout. We both enjoyed our meals. Cocktails were creative and good. Desserts were good as well.
