After avoiding the Red Cow for years because it went so downhill, it was a delight to return to it under its new ownership and find it hugely improved. Very good and imaginative cuisine, all well presented; classic 'old pub' ambience, warm and friendly; and pleasingly affordable prices. Well done to all involved, we shall be back!

Welcoming staff: delicious meal. Wine a little pricey and staff sweaky footage a little annoying! A good first visit under new owners. Will be back.

We stayed at the Red Cow for 2 nights and ate in the restaurant twice. The staff were very attentive, observant and the food was delicious. If you get the chance to eat or stay here I'd definitely recommend it 😊

Had a great Sunday lunch with good friends. The roast beef was superb as was my husbands burger. There is a good wine list and a choice of beers. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We ate outside as it was warm but there is plenty of seating inside too. I would recommend the Red Cow to anyone.

Really well cooked steak and other meat dishes. We had a great family meal. The costs are moderate and the service excellent. The only slight negative was the small portions for the seafood boullabaise and the lamb curry. Overall really enjoyable we will certainly be back

Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Excellent menu and food beautifully cooked. The lunchtime we went the pub was very quiet but we didn't mind that at all.
