We look forward to welcoming you to The Raymond 1886. Please make reservations online or by calling the restaurant on 626-441-3136. If you have any special requests please note we will do our very best to accommodate however we cannot guarantee them. We have both outdoor seating in our wonderful patio spaces and indoor tables in the beautiful cottage and bar.

Bar 1886 is open Sun-Thursday until 9pm and Friday - Saturday until 11pm. Walk-in welcome!

Portions were ridiculously small for the price. I ordered the scallops and for $45 dollars I got 3 scallops. THREE. That's it. And a half a cup of peas. My daughter in law ordered the Short rib that came with potato puree and it was like a tablespoon of potato puree. The value has become so low we were shocked and all agreed we won't visit again. Which is a shame because it's been a yearly after Thanksgiving tradition.

We had Thanksgiving Dinner, a fixed price offering of 4 entrees. We had to wait for our reserved table, since earlier diners were slower than expected. We had the prime rib and the fish, which were excellent. A very pleasant evening.

The best place to go to for any occasion. We love this place their food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy. The service is outstanding !

We had a wonderful experience on Thanksgiving at The Raymond last year, but things were much more uneven this year. Food that was supposed to be hot was, at best, warm, turkey dry, no plates to put dinner rolls & not enough butter for five people, no serving spoons with side dishes, service genial but not attentive (kept having to ask for water refills, the one beer order at the table wasn't delivered, had to request salt and pepper). I realize that Thanksgiving is a busy day for any restaurant, but if things are that pressed, then preload some things -- put a carafe of water on the table so people can serve themselves, put salt & pepper on all tables, don't serve rolls until there are plates on the table, etc. Disappointing given the price.

This was our first time as a family having our Thanksgiving meal away from home. The entire experience was very special, intimate, food was delicious, servers, music outstanding, vibe perfect…we sat outside on garden patio. It was heaven! (The weather was 73 and sunny!)… The only reason I did not give a 5 for service was ONLY because it was Thanksgiving Day and it seemed they might have been slightly short staffed, however, the servers were delightful and working VERY hard. They just could have had a few more which would assist with getting drinks/water refreshed or other incidentals. I highly recommend The Raymond as a must experience restaurant if you’re looking if for a garden, romantic, historical, beautiful restaurant with amazing food choices, located in Pasadena.

Twenty minutes after being seated I had to ask to see a waiter very poor service side dishes were bad not going back
