   Our reservation was at 1215 pm. We were not told until we were seated, and until the waiter came to our table ( about 5-10 min later ) that the kitchen was running 45 min behind. We should have been told prior to our coming / and prior to being seated that the kitchen was that far behind We finally left at 115 pm. With no lunch served

   Service was not great. The welcome was not very friendly. I Ordered tea with my meal but it wasn’t brought until the end of my meal. I only had one bite of waffle left by the time they brought my tea. I asked the waitstaff for my tea, and he said he didn’t know anything about it and got very defensive. He told me very rudely that he didn’t know what kind of tea it was or if it was iced or cold. The food itself wasn’t great either. The waffle was very dry and didn’t taste freshly cooked. It looked deflated like it had been sitting for awhile and then retoasted. They don’t use real maple syrup either. Won’t be returning.

   We had a lively Valentine’s Day brunch at the Porch. We chose brunch to toast with mimosas and order the delicious beignets with jam and they were so good! Brunch was outstanding, the service was terrific and we will be back soon with our extended family! Thank you!

   We decided to have our Valentines dinner here on February 13. It was a great choice! Great food and service! We would recommend this restaurant.

   The food at The Porch is outstanding. I’ve taken a few people there and we’ve enjoyed every meal. The only things I would mention is the parking and the noise level. Parking is a bit sparse during peak times so plan accordingly. As for the noise level, well, that’s because everyone is enjoying the food and their company. It’s a bit pricey but the servings are plentiful and the servers are great. I’ll be back again for sure.

   Troy was our server. Great company. We were here for breakfast. Got the spicy chicken biscuit sandwich, shrimp and grits, brisket and biscuit. All were tasty. Mos def will be back, maybe will try dinner next.

   They were not very accommodating for our party of six. We had reservations and they couldn't a table for us so we had to sit at different tables and yell to hear each other. There we no apologies or attempts to help us. Food was good but service sucked

   Saltiest fried chicken ever. Server got order wrong for one of us. Salad came out after meal. At least the beignets were good.

    We went to support a local non-profit with Sacramento Dine Downtown. They were one of the participating locations, and the food and service were terrific! Homestyle cooking comfort food! The Skillet MacNCheese was fabulous with brisket on top. We also enjoyed dessert of chocolate cake (decadent!) but the beignes were a little undercooked. Overall great spot and we look forward to coming back for brunch sometime!
