The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

Obviously a must see for first time Savannah visitors . Loved the building. Food...mehh. Apps were fine... hubbs loved the crab dip, gator bites were ok. 2 had the famous fried chicken, which they enjoyed. LoCountry Santa Fe pasta and shrimp gumbo were beyond bland.... no slice at all. All meals were warm, not hot. G

Completely in love with the architecture and history of this place! The hosting staff was amazing. The crab dip was absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp and grits. While it was good the shrimp was cold. I didn’t like that. My husband ordered the snapper. He loved it and I tried some. Very good! However, The collars and grits were cold. If you have teens that don’t eat seafood there was really no option for them to get a burger or something to that extent as they couldn’t order off the kids menu bc it was too small of portions the waitress claimed. They did try to accommodate and make them chicken fettuccine Alfredo but an adult sized. It was the same size as our 11 year olds child’s size (which they charged more for) but It came without the chicken., all three of them complained it was cold. They didn’t even finish theirs bc they said it wasn’t good. They forgot Our toddlers chicken tenders and fries. It came out piping hot. And the waitress set it right in-front of him. That could have burned him. Thankfully I moved it fast away. My Bloody Mary wasn’t the best. I had a hard time finishing it. The biscuits and corn bread were amazing. The waitress did have the chicken we didn’t receive for our teens taken off of the tab. For the price it wasn’t worth it. We were really looking for an overall great experience and did not receive that. Disappointed is an understatement.

Just a wonderful delicious meal in a beautiful old room that sent us back in time. The service was fantastic and the staff couldn't be nicer.

As always, Pirates House didn’t disappoint. We always go for the buffet which can be counted on to be good and a great value for the money. We think it is the best lunch buffet in Savannah. A good selection of mains and sides with a southern flair. Didn’t give it 5 stars because a buffet is never as good as made to order but worth a trip for the hungry.

Completely unexpected. Not a cheesy pirate joint. Food, service, and ambiance was perfect. Would definitely recommend. Kids loved the homemade bread, and children’s dishes shrimp and chicken tenders.

Food was okay. Mash potatoes were cold and tasted like reheated. Disappointed.
