   The breakfast buffet was great - a good selection of juices, fruit, muesli, breads, sweet treats and even sausage rolls - highly enjoyable.

   The room was lovely and size was more than adequate! The spar bath and sauna were lovely too! The price was high in my opinion, but this I believe is driven by demand. The biggest let down was the food, which was one of the main reasons for our visit. Pork pie starter, I couldve done with a jack hammer to get in, pork was overcooked and grey with no gelatin. The pork T bone was overcooked and dry, the cod fingers starter again was over cooked and slightly burnt. The brunch was better, I enjoyed the black pudding, bacon, sausage etc. The staff were very friendly and more than enough as far as being attentive. Would I stay again? Maybe if better value. Would I drive out for dinner? No

   Everything about our brunch was amazing, from the food to the service. Would highly recommend the whole hog where you’re able to choose any hot main breakfast and then help yourself to the grazing table featuring fruit, pastries, sausage rolls, juices etc. ⭐️

   Great choice of dishes on main menu and specials - was hard to choose what to have! Portion sizes were great, all that we ordered was really well cooked and delicious. Staff super helpful and friendly. A busy restaurant but we were never kept waiting or felt neglected.

    The food never fails - always delicious with hearty flavours no matter what time of year. The only downside is the bench seating can become a bit uncomfortable after more than 5 minutes and lack of attention to dead flowers in vases along the windowsill let it down slightly but this didn't stop us from enjoying our stay and food.
