The establishment is family-friendly and a great place to eat and come to for celebrating special occasions.

This is a country pub, and although we are passionate about our food, we stay loyal to the building’s roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub.

I had the black treacle cured bacon steak and although it filled me up I could have had another, it was so good. Definitely recommend. Also the scotch eggs are to die for.

Had a fabulous Sunday roast sirloin with all the trimmings; it was delicious. The portion size was just right and everything was great. They also do an amazing pudding club on Sunday too if you fancy dessert; well worth a visit. All the staff are super friendly too. Highly recommend.

The menu was a brunch menu, rather than a lunch menu, we should have checked, we opted to eat from the specials board, the Yorkshire pudding beef wrap, absolutely delicious, couldn't fault the food we had, we will be eating there again.
