   Fantastic experience. One of our party needed a low table and they were able to move things around to make it work. The food was delicious and service was attentive but not intrusive. The rice bowl was especially fantastic.

   It's definitely a busy place. The food was good. I had the salmon tacos & kale salad, and my husband had the salmon entree, and our friends had the braised short rib entree. We also had brisket nachos & fried deviled eggs for appetizers and bread pudding for dessert. The restaurant is very loud! That's kind of a positive because the tables are very close, but you can't overhear the conversation of the party next to you. It's kind of loungey with couches and a bar. Our server, Lauren, was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and gave good recommendations. The only thing we weren't really feeling was that one of the hostesses came over and told us they needed our table for incoming reservation. So although it feels loungey & comfortable, I wouldn't say this is a place to relax and catch up with old friends because they will rush you to leave. They do have a nice patio area, and it has heat lamps, so we went outside and finished our conversation.

   This was our first time at Oakmont. We loved the vibe, and our server was fabulous. The brisket nachos are a must-try, and my husband loved the short ribs on truffle mashed potatoes. The truffle fries were a bit dull; they could definitely use more truffle flavor. The chimichurri steak was good, but the meat was not sliced properly, so it was a bit chewy. All in all, fun dinner in a lively atmosphere.

   Love this spot for brunch! My go to is always an espresso martini or the various mimosa options and breakfast tacos!

   We thought this was a restaurant with a bar, but it is really a bar that serves food. That being said the short ribs were amazing and the espresso martini was out of this world. Everyone loved their craft cocktails however, the atmosphere is nothing more than a bar and the pictures did not quite show us that so we were disappointed to walk into that atmosphere instead of a restaurant atmosphere that served craft cocktails.

    always excellent food and service. It is close to our office so it is a great place to go and able to make reservations is a plus .
