   Visited lots of times, nothing to fault, great value, lovely service from walking in, food always spot on for us, fresh tasty and generous portions with excellent gravy and sauces.

   Lovely restaurant in a beautiful old house with a modern conservatory. Food was good and competitively priced. A quiet oasis on a very busy day in the school holidays!

   Wonderful atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, delicious food. But pricey but what do you expect in a zoo with quality ingredients. 10/10 would visit again.

   My Daughter is celiac and the staff were great with the care taken in preparing and serving the food to prevent cross contamination. Thankyou for a wonderful afternoons dining experience

   Great food, but service slow and inattentive. No milk offered for coffee (had to ask), and when it came it was had floaters throughout it and I had to ask for fresh milk.

   It looks like ordering small plates gets fast service, covers arriving significantly later than us were served and eating several minutes before us. We ordered from the main menu. On three occasions we asked for water, by the time we left none had been brought to the table. Much of the main menu is fairly common pub grub with a couple of options being healthier. Staff, particularly the maitre d, pay far more attention to what their tablet shows than clients. The restaurant looked to be 30 to 40% occupied and wass still so slow, so take a book to read or travel board games to pass the time away.

   We ordered drinjs & when the glasses came they were filthy- lipstick on mine 🤦‍♀️ When food came half the order was missing & the rest was cold & we gad to send it back. So not a good experience to say the least 😢

    We have dined at The Oakfield a few times and have always enjoyed it. Today we felt there was less choice and the meals were slightly disappointing. Hoping it was just an off day and will eat again
