   First time at The Ninth - we came in at lunchtime for the 3 course set menu. Food was delicious, every dish very well seasoned and packed full of flavour. Service was good and attentive, great ambience and overall a very good experience, extremely good value for money. Highly recommended! Thanks to both BOH&FOH for crafting such a lovely experience for me and my partner.

   We had the chefs tasting menu with a wine paring .. It was extremely nice , very tasty indeed and the service was exceptional.

   We booked The Ninth for their set menu - pre theatre. The whole experience was great. Very helpful member of staff who took my booking, quick, friendly speedy service. We booked an outside covered table which we liked. The food was beautifully presented, came out hot, very fresh. My favourite dishes were the hake & the brûlée rice pudding but all the food was excellent. Good value at £38 for 3 courses. They gave me an extra little dessert as it was my birthday!

   The waiters and waitresses wore jeans and trainers/Doc Martens. That's not Michelin.

   Food was excellent, we had the set dinner and we were fed really well. Mako-san took great care of us, making sure everything was perfect! The ambience and vibe of the restaurant was amazing as well, thank you once again for the great hospitality

   It is absolutely the most value for money of any Michelin star restaurant. Jun was actually here. So great to see the chef himself. I would skip the crab tartlets. The mackerel was refreshing and the hake was delicious. Good portion size too. The French toast dessert was amazing.

   The set lunch was delicious and relatively good value. Received a lovely welcome from the General Manager. The atmosphere warm and cosy. We will return.

    A set menu with plenty to offer for every taste. A lively relaxed atmosphere. Can I spotlight the blood orange and rhubarb rice pudding was sublime.
