   Overall nice cocktail lounge with a classic ambiance. Good drink and snack selection. They had trouble with our reservation during a busy evening.

   Love this place for its cocktails and the ambience. Not to mention the amazing views of Detroit. One of my favorite bars for sure!

   We came hungry thinking we were having dinner but they only serve small bites. Pretty expensive appetizers and drinks. Ambience is nice and relaxing, has lounge vibes. We were seated indoors on couches and chairs with small tables, not at a traditional style table. We had to put our appetizer plates on our laps. Would only go back to grab drinks.

   Wanted to communicate with the restaurant and it was impossible. Nobody answers the phone during business hours. Wanted to talk to someone to arrange possibly a private area for a couple that got engaged and we wanted to surprise them. Wanted to ask questions about bringing balloons, cake etc. and couldn’t get answers. Since no response I just went ahead on Open Table to make a normal reservation. I did receive one email response finally with only one option for $800. Since it was just 8 of us I needed a smaller option but received no response back about that. Wrote notes in comment box on Open Table about special occasion we were celebrating. Nobody read it and didn’t know what the occasion was when we arrived. When I first arrived they would not let me go up the elevator until most of my party was there which was frustrating. I asked at check in if we had a high top table as indicated on reservation and it was the only option at booking. The lady said that was my only option and I had no choice because everything was booked. I didn’t say to her but really wanted something more intimate for our surprise party. Then when we were seated it was couches and intimate like I wanted. So not sure if the person at check in really knows what they are talking about. Overall I just felt ignored and not important.

   Seated right away, with reservation, but it took a very long time to order drinks. Staff didn't know common liquor types, which is surprising considering the complexity of the drinks. The drinks were good, though, and the atmosphere is nice.

   The lightening was comparable to candlelight. The atmosphere was smooth and refreshing. Staff was very nice and inviting. We stopped in for a celebratory drink for my husband. We were asked if there was a special occasion and after we mentioned that it was, we received complimentary champagne before our actual drinks. Very nice touch and our server and host were amazing.

    Waitress didn’t even say happy birthday much, was really dry. The manager was nice and the menu was really limited.
