Old Town Scottsdale’s heart beats to a Latin drum at The Mission where renowned Chef Matt Carter (Zinc Bistro and Fat Ox) brings a modern twist to Latin cuisine blending influences from Spain, Mexico, Central America and South America.

Sip a signature margarita with unique flavors such as cucumber jalepeno or aguacate (yes, we said avocado) as you watch your Tableside Guacamole made to your taste from more than a dozen fresh ingredients.

Home made tortillas, and salsas are made fresh daily to accompany an assortment of meats and seafood prepared on a Plancha or a grill using pecan and mesquite wood that instills a rich flavor. And save room for dessert including our pumpkin bread pudding or expresso churros.

Excellent food and service. Not the typical Mexican food. Roasted corn appetiser very tasty. The shoulder of pork was tender and flavourful. Hopping atmosphere.

We love having dinner at the Mission in Scottsdale when we are in town. The table-side guacamole is so fresh and delicious. The skirt steak tacos, poblano grits and smokehouse margarita are some of our favorites. I highly recommend patio seating, as the inside is really dark. But it’s great if you’re looking for a dark, moody vibe.

Great choice….The legendary guac,the margarita ,chicken platter with yummy sauce and cheesy rice were all cooked perfectly.The pumpkin bread dessert with ice cream and yummmy sauce topped with pomegranate seeds and pepitos was unique.

Second dining experience at The Mission, Ashley our server was very knowledgeable and gave suggestions for our GF friend. We chose the table guacamole and were extremely happy we did. Make sure to leave room for dessert ~ party of 8 we tried them all ~ Pumpkin Bread Pudding is so worth the drive from Queen Creek ~ we’ll be back😊❗️❗️
