Due to the unpredictable Maui weather conditions, we cannot guarantee seating requests (regardless of how far in advance a reservation has been made or the occasion).

The Mill House applies an innovative approach to fresh, local ingredients in dishes that honor the cultures of those who emigrated from Japan, China, Spain, Korea, Portugal, and other distant lands to work in Maui’s sugarcane industry a century and more ago. All dining areas pay homage to Maui’s sugarcane history with reclaimed and restored pieces from the area’s now closed sugar mills.

When you make a reservation with The Mill House space is set aside at an indoor table for your comfort. Upon arrival, guests are seated in one of our four dining areas, with varying types of ambiance, and all open aired.

While the views from the lanai can be stunning, it is important to note that the weather varies. Swings between hot sunlight and cool breezes or rain are possible, making seating for this space unpredictable.

The location is great and so was the food. With that said, I was pretty bummed as we were celebrating my wife's birthday and I called ahead and ordered a dessert with candle and all that to be brought out after dinner as a surprise. They brought out dessert menus so I figured they forgot, we finished up and asked for the bill. Seeing it was on the bill, they then awkwardly brought one out but it just felt like an afterthought. In the end, I would go there again as the food was really good but I don't think I would go to celebrate anything as my advanced requests were basically forgotten until the meal was over. *With the exception of the host who said happy birthday when she sat us.

When I made the reservation, I added our allergies. They were prepared for them as soon as we sat down—I didn’t even have to bring it up. Everyone who worked there went above and beyond for us. Such a great experience.

Our experience at the Mill House was exceptional. Food and service were both much better than we expected. And, very unique location, history and ambiance. Would definitely recommend.

Had a fabulous 60th birthday dinner with my husband! Ryan was our server and was exactly what you’d expect at a fine dining restaurant. We love the restaurants that do farm to table!

Eaten here many times, hands down 5 star, got new chef and all the little things that put you on the map in Maui, Gone. Attention to detail Gone. Loved having French press with dessert, desserts have became Bla-bla-bla. Bartender staff still on Q!! Waiters are clueless, not how it was 1 year ago, so sad

Great place to dine. Just wish I had gotten there when it was still light as there are so many things to see on their grounds. Food was delicious and service great!
