    This was my 5th time at the Mexican and the first time I noticed the staff was short, they always ask if we needed anything this time we had empty cocktails and the waitress she disappeared for 10 minutes. The good thing guy who help clean the tables he was on top of everything.

    The decor and ambiance is amazing. The drinks are fantastic. Salsas were fun and different with plenty of heat and flavor. The food not so much. The guac divorciado was good. The Chicharron De Ribeye was a few chunks of meat on a bed of guac which isn’t quite what we were expecting. The crispy pork belly was rubbery and chewy. Queso fundido was a glob of cheese in a tortilla. Not even melty like a quesadilla, just kinda there. The best things at the table were the American Wagyu a la roca and the scallops and camarones. We had two orders of spinalis ordered medium rare that came out rare/blue. The Asparagus was amazing and the bone marrow was not.

    Overall, the experience was very good. I’d likely go back again, however, in making my reservation I will be much more mindful of the seating options that I was given. My reservation was for standard seating in the bar. I wish I would’ve paid a little more attention and taken seating in the dining room as it would’ve been much more quiet.

    This is some of the best Mexican food in Dallas. The margaritas are very authentic and the selection of dishes unique.
