We locally source our ingredients from farms within a 150-mile radius of The Met. Entrance to the Museum and The Met Dining Room requires a ticket or Membership card. The duck for $45 was inedible. Came out lukewarm, could not properly chew it, my guess was it was microwaved. I used to love going to the Met Dining Room! What a disappointment! Then the waiter asked if I wanted something different. I ordered a hamburger. Figured what could go wrong? It came out overdone, looked like a frozen patty to me. Probably would have gotten a better burger at Burger King.! So glad we didn’t bring guests. I would have been embarrassed. The server was excellent, the front desk excellent, but I don’t know who was cooking in the kitchen? Completely unacceptable! They gave us a free dessert. I would have rather have had a nicer lunch!

Lovely as always. Snow in the park, a hot toddy on the table, great food on the menu. Ideal place for Christmas Eve luncheon.

We had a lovely afternoon. Our server was exceptionally friendly and informative and gave wonderful recommendations. We really enjoyed our time and the food and desserts were delicious.
