   Beautiful renovation of a Glen Cove venue. Seasoned restauranteur makes dining experience seamless and professionally executed. Price fixe menu diverse , wine list well thought out and service polished . Dining room spacious and roomy. Lovely view of long island sound and golf course . Looking forward to outdoor dining as well on the deck when weather warms up.

   Very disappointed!!! This was our 2nd time there. Our 1st time was amazing! The food was great, service, very attentive, and the dining rooms made you feel like you were at an up scale NYC restaurant. Not so this time. The bar was full of loud drunk people, the dining rooms were LOUD, People dressed in tee shirt and baseball caps, the wait staff was a step above a local diner. The food was terrible, steak was tough, vegetables were hard, it was like they threw the vegetables on the grill to get grill marks and then put them on the plate. We did say something to the waitress and we were comp'd our coffee and dessert. Thanks but never again!!

   The good. The food was excellent. My pork chop was tender and tasty. My wife said her salmon was one of the best; cooked exactly as she requested it. Both dishes had unique sauces. The restaurant is on Long Island Sound with great views (and sunsets) from almost every table. The wait staff was attentive. The bad. It’s noisy. We sat at the other end of the restaurant from the bar and it still was loud. (regulars at the next table told us that the owner just spent $$$ to add soundproofing. They need to do more.) Bottom line. We’ll definitely go back for the food…but earlier before the bar scene fills up (and you can still see the view).

   The food here has been consistently impressive. Tonight, the mushroom soup was at a Michelin level. Bravo!

   Second time here since they opened and it’s an absolutely amazing experience! From the food to the drinks, ambiance and service, The Marker is one of the best restaurants in town! The grilled skirt steak is my personal favorite but you can’t go wrong with any of their menu options. Will definitely be back again!

   Food was delicious and well presented. Limited menu for dinner. Wonderful wait staff but modest ambiance and very noisy making table conversation difficult.

   We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals at The Marker. I’ve been here a few times in the past and noise level was off the charts. Happy to see they’ve put panels on the ceiling which helped muffle the noise. Wasn’t packed as weather may have kept some diners home. Service was wonderful, very attentive staff. We had apps, entrees and dessert. We will definitely be back again…can’t wait until warmer weather to see outside transformation as well. I think this will be a very popular destination for good food/drinks and gatherings! Highly recommend and will be back soon!

    Our table was ready when we arrived. The space is beautiful! I wish it were the time of year where you can see outside at 7pm, but we will go back for the view! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and served hot. Anything we asked to split was brought to the table already split for us, so there was no mess at the table. The fried calamari was fresh and crisp. I had the chicken.masala which was tasty and well plated with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes s. I was able to replace one veg for the sprouts with no problem. All others at dinner lived their meals as well. The apple cobbler for dessert was warm and wonderful. The cappuccino delicious! Huge thumbs up!
