It was a great spot for a first date. Lots of different options. All were great. The burrata was my favorite.

Had the plant based red curry sticky rice bowl followed by the apple flakey pastry for dessert. Both were Out of this world! Their seasonal sangrias are always flavorful. Staff is stand out friendly & kind & knowledgeable of the menu. FAV restaurant in Philly!

My Bronzino was so delicious with couscous and baby carrots. I ate every morsel! I was with my best friends from HS and everyone loved their dishes! Keep doing what you are doing.

I wanted to Love the Love, but I ended up just liking it. However, there is a lot to love about it. The brussel sprouts appetizer and the fried chicken entree were excellent (although I wish there were a tad less rosemary on the chicken). The chive butter that came with the Parker rolls was great but the rolls themselves were forgettable. I had the Love Potion for a cocktail, and my date had the Broken Arrow. Both were delicious. The staff was… overly friendly? I know it’s their job to upsell and check in on patrons but my date and I were constantly interrupted by multiple members of the staff checking in on us. It’s an overly tedious complaint, but it did affect our overall experience. They sat us upstairs at a 2-top by the window, and while also a tedious complaint, we were both sitting underneath window drapes and our table was wobbly. Something about the whole experience seemed a little manufactured, as if we were forced to have a good time, and be wooed by the crazy font sizes on the menu and overly attentive staff. The servers and bussers were helpful and did a great job nonetheless, but my theory is maybe it was the pressure to uphold the Starr brand that kept the staff from being more relaxed and authentic... just a theory I made up. The food is too good to give it a 3 but the vibes were too tense and the prices were too high to give it a 5.

Nice place. We were rushed. We ordered 4 courses, 2 of which came together. A small table made that awkward. Our server tried to help by asking us if we wanted to move but we didn’t. Food was okay. Drink was good.
