A very enjoyable afternoon tea experience in beautiful surroundings with excellent service. The sausage roll, scones and cakes were really delicious, however the sandwiches were only average in both quantity and quality, hence 4 stars not 5. Even so, we would love to come back!

When our stand of food arrived, the lady described the food to us, cheese ' n' pickle, salmon 'n'cream cheese, neither had in, and the sandwiches where stale, we had a replacement and was told don't know why as these where made this morning, it's now 2pm. We where given one small pot of tea for one , so had to go and ask for another. I do have to say it wasn't the ladies fault they just didn't have enough staff on. One lady for all the service is not enough.

Poor value for money. Food was passable but only just. We had to ask for extra jam fir the scones as portion was very miserly. No spoons provided to serve jam or cream or cake forks to use for eating. At £50 per head, I was very shocked to be charged an additional £5 per head for service charge. If I hadn't had been so surprised I would have challenged this. Overall, not impressed.

Sandwiches were stale so had to be sent back. New sandwiches arrived but it appears they were not freshly made and were stone cold and slightly hard from being kept in the fridge. Sofa was dirty. Cutlery was dirty and had to be sent back. Waitress was fabulous. Absolutely overpriced.

Amazing and beautiful building but some of the furnishings inside are tired. Afternoon tea was pretty poor for the money. Four finger sandwiches each is a bit tight and the fillings were virtually nonexistent. The egg sandwich filling was tiny, more like a thin spread. Good and tasty, hot sausage roll but why serve it on top of the cold sandwiches? Scones were very good. The cakes seemed shop bought and were average at best. Afternoon tea should feel luxurious and it should be generous in size. This was neither.

Unfortunately wasn’t given a time allowed in table and just before being there 2 hours was told table was needed (booked for 1.30pm at 2.15 told table needed) also napkin had dirty mark in it. When gave polite feedback about not being told of any time limit on table staff seemed disinterested

To sum it up in a few words and not to ramble on too much it was OK, certainly wouldn’t recommend or visit again . Nothing toward the staff all were very pleasant helpful and accommodating. In a nutshell a very mediocre tea very average in quality , bread just standard white and wholemeal cheap supermarket bread fillings very stingy ham cheap stuff , scones a little doughy lacking any fruit to speak of. And the sweet bits lacked any greatness , we had a blackberry mouse thing that had no flavour whatsoever the Victoria sponge and pistachio macron saved it . Price wise I don’t think personally worth it as been to others with far superior ingredients and items similar price point . Eastwell manor needs to up its game .

We had afternoon tea today, the food was lovely and fresh, the service was impeccable, the service was amazing the young lady that served us was attentive, polite, knowledgable about the food, asked us if we had allergies. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room where we had afternoon tea was fantastic, comfortable and simply beautiful.
