    We are Windsor residents and were interested in trying the Lodge. Pros- Nice view, seated promptly, 1-lady making the rounds with great attitude, prices reasonable. Cons- 15min in the seat before first contact, Waitress did not engage and was generally unfriendly. sirloin over cooked, short ribs were barely warm. Arrived early and waited at the bar, cocktail was ok. Seemed like wait-staff kept meeting at kitchen door to discuss issues. The poor attitude of our server turned a nice date night into a grab and go. Flavor of food was nice and had we felt the waitress wanted our business, we may have planned a return. On to the next.

    Our server Antonio was very friendly and made us laugh. The manager was also friendly and checked on us a couple of times throughout the night. The drinks and food were all great too!

    This was our first chance to try The Lodge's new menu. Everything was exceptional, particularly the pasta sirloin. The service is impeccable, from our server Miranda to the server assistants, Jack and Aiden. Even Stephanie, the evening manager, came by to check on us and to see how the meal was. Great location for celebrations, date night or just a night out. Do not skip the smoked old fashion!

    Food can take a while to come out but everything we have tried here has been delicious. Well worth the wait!! Definitely one of our new favorite places!

    Wow. I’m sitting here wondering where to begin with this incredible dining experience my husband and I had last night. What a special date night with food that I went to sleep, thinking about every detail was perfect. The preparation of the food and the sourcing of beautiful ingredients and the amazing flavoring and sauces were stunning. There are a few restaurants in my passionate dining career that I will never forget, and this is one of them! We spoke to the manager, and she told us that their new executive chef, chef Cole, created this delicious new menu. We opened with the Brussels complete with high-quality blue cheese and bacon. We shared two mains… The scallops and also the salmon. The sauces were the perfect combination for the seafood and the vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were over the moon with a choice of grains for each dish… Even Egyptian black forbidden rice for the salmon and was such a unique and perfect choice to accompany that dish. My husband and I frequently cook and we source excellent ingredients and there was absolutely nothing that wasn’t perfect about this dining experience! The staff were attentive and kind and engaging and clearly proud of this incredible creation. The ambience was peaceful and beautiful with a wonderful view. The lighting was so artistic. I spent time looking at the lighting and even took pictures of that! Good going water Valley! Best fine dining in Colorado by far!

    The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu was inviting and specialized not to many things. The risotto was corn heavy and dry, the rice bowl tasted as good as it looked and the pork chop was an absolutely wonderful experience.

    Seated right away, had a cocktail and wine which were both fine, nothing special. Had two appetizers the croquettes and bread. We wouldn’t get the bread again. Shared the risotto and ribeye. Ribeye was good, risotto was under seasoned and had too much corn to the point where you couldn’t taste the flavor of anything else. Server was very kind and engaging. Experience was average given the higher price point. We likely won’t be back.

    This was our first time eating at The Lodge. I was a little hesitant because it's in a golf course community - but it didn't feel that way at all. It was the best dining experience I've had in a long, long time. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful - warm, cozy, romantic and perfectly done. The service was top notch - timing was spot on and the server was knowledgeable and charming. The food was fantastic. They were on the last days of their Winter menu. We had the Whipped Ricotta to start. I had the Pork Chop and my wife had the Crab. Not a bad bite on the table. Amazing flavors that all paired perfectly. We're looking forward to going back and trying their Spring menu.
