Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

Amazing Sunday lunch today. We had the most incredible roast chicken. Service was amazing and we absolutely loved it all! Thank you so much to all of the staff at The Salhouse Lodge

Beautiful setting and very nicely decorated for Xmas. Choice of food was great, freshly cooked and well presented. Good size portions. Friendly , efficient service. Excellent, we would highly recommend for a good meal.

Absolutely lovely food, staff were so helpful and very friendly, decor was outstanding, nice place to relax after your meal with a drink and chat. Definitely go again .

Six of us had lunch at Salhouse Lodge on Friday 13 Dec. The restaurant was extremely busy and we had to wait for our table but that wasn’t a problem. In general the food was good but myself and one other (an ex professional chef) ordered the Halibut as we love fish and it was definitely overcooked and hard. The so called tender stem broccoli was anything but tender. My knife couldn’t cut it as it was very undercooked. The accompaniments to the halibut were good and the sauce extremely flavoursome. The remainder of our party were very happy with their meals. Despite being very busy the waiting staff were friendly and very efficient.
