   Service was very slow, restaurant was virtually empty. Our first drink took over 15 minutes to receive. Food was mediocre at best, very little flavor. The shrimp scampi had no garlic flavor at all, which is a main ingredient in scampi. The shrimp and grits had over cooked, too gooey grits, seemed like they may have been microwaved. Salmon salad, for the price the piece of salmon was extremely small and the snakebite pasta had over cooked andouille sausage pieces, again, they were chewy like they had been microwaved. It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive, except the food runner couldn't get the tray through the door (we were seated outside) and proceeded to drop the entire tray of food on the ground. From arrival at 6:30p it was after 8p when our 2nd round of food finally arrived. Although the manager worked with us on the bill evenutally, the all around experience was very disappointing. There were 4 of us and all of our first visit to this location. Unfortunately, I can say that none of us will be returning.

   This place is awesome and I have been there a few times and keep coming back because the food and service is great oh and can’t forget the drinks are amazing.

   Our server was great. The meal was delicious. The restaurant was nice bc it was not too loud to talk and we were not rushed at all.

   Was taken to The Lodge Restaurant for my birthday and the dining experience was top notch! We were impressed with the ambiance and the service, and the meals were seasoned perfectly. The General Manager even presented a birthday card for a free appetizer on my next visit - which may be very soon!

   The Lodge was not at the top of its game on this visit. While the wait staff was exceptional the kitchen fell woefully short. The food took forever to come out and when it did arrive it was cold for most people in our party. One person in our party did not get their dinner salad until 20 minutes after the rest of I were served. Another person in the party got the lamb chop special which was a disappointment. The tiny chops were cut less than a half inch thick. ☹️ It will be a whole before we return. Too much competition in Annapolis for a the poor autofinancie meal for the price point.

   The butternut soup was really delicious. Our hostess Emma was lovely and our waiter was equally lively and attentive. ( I regret I cannot remember his name).
