   Excellent value for Sunday dinner, great portion and tasty food. Yorkshire’s were a bit well done for my liking and roasties too. Service was great and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet.

   No welcome when we arrived for our booking I had asked for gravy on the side and dinner came swimming in gravy!! I was told the meat is cooked in gravy which it clearly wasn’t as the underside of meat was gravy free .. there was no roast potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding was dry and tasteless The meat was tasty and there was a good selection of nicely cooked vegetables just a shame they were covered in gravy

   First time for a long time & it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch, meat & veggies amazing, huge Yorkshire pudding & extra gravy on the side. We were so full we couldn’t manage a dessert but we’ll attempt it next time!! Great friendly service & dog friendly, what more could you ask for!

    The restaurant was fairly quiet, seated quickly and drinks and food orders taken promptly, menu items explained, staff friendly. The wait for the food was about 35 minutes however it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT! We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teens and there were clean plates all around. Beautifully cooked and presented, excellent quality and flavour and clearly fresh and cooked to order. The lamb and mint pie with home cooked chips was a highlight, one of the best pies I’ve ever had.
