The food was excellent, the whole place was VERY warm, uncomfortably so. The waiter was kind to turn the gas lights off, but that also changed the vibe some. The noise was loud closer to the entry way so we had to pick between heat or noise, and opted for heat. I assume this won’t be a regular issue so don’t let it sway you. I would add, the curtains are drawn and we would have loved to enjoy the late sun and long Spring day with a view instead of drawn curtains

Fairly typical of a hotel restaurant, I'd describe it as decent. No aspect was excellent, and no aspect was poor. It was unfortunately a rush because business hours were incorrect in OpenTable, allowing reservation time slots prior to the restaurant opening. As a result, I was only able to try one menu item. It was good enough, but not a meal I'll be thinking about days later, let alone weeks or months. If you're staying in the hotel or seeing a show nearby, it's a convenient option. I'd eat at The Keep again out of convenience or the desire of a dinner companion without complaint, but I wouldn't specifically seek it out.

It's sad to see that the Keep has really gone downhill. We made a reservation for 4:45pm as we had to be at a show by 6pm. When we arrived we were told they weren't seating anyone until 5pm - why allow reservations earlier than that then? The menu was also very limited due to the show where dietary restrictions really didn't have any options. The food took forever to come out, despite the restaurant not being busy and the limited menu offerings. Won't be coming back here after this experience.

Eduardo was the sweetest server. The crispy chicken sandwich is amazing and so are the Brussel sprouts! We had a reservation and ended up sitting at a small table but our server moved us to a booth as soon as one opened up. The food is great and the service was great as well. It was very busy because of a show at the palace theater but they did a great job keeping up.

The experience of dining at the Keep is like visiting with family and friends. My wife had an exceptional birthday meal experience which now I would find it difficult to fine anywhere else.

Kitchen prep delay? Or server problem? We arrived on time for our 5:30 pm reservation and we were seated promptly. We told our server we were going next door to a 7pm show. We thought we had plenty of time. We were a little slow on ordering. Ordered wine. Then when that arrived, we ordered an appetizer. Thought we had plenty of time. Before the app arrived, we ordered entrees. I believe we completed orders close to 6pm. We were served the app and ate it by 6:15. When we didn’t see our entrees by 6:30, we were getting concerned. We asked the server several times if the entrees were close. The food didn’t show up until just after 6:45. All we could do was ask for the check and inhale our main course in order to make the show. Waiting 1/2 hour after our appetizer when we had requested prompt service was excessive. Too bad, as it was a sad note to a good dinner.

The short rib hash were not good at all. More like saucy/gravyish stew with an egg on top. Our server was not friendly or engaging at all. Made us feel rushed and not overly welcome. Person who got us waters and came to table initially was phenomenal.

Excellent ambiance and outstanding service at a reasonable price. They surprised us with a lovely birthday cake for my wife at the end of dinner, making the experience even more special.
