   Really enjoyed The James. My husband and I ordered from the prefix menu. $59 for three courses which was a great deal. The duck cassoulet was delicious as was the Ceasar salad, we shared those as appetizers. My husband got the pork chop which he said was delicious. I had the James burger, an elevated Big Mac style burger. I would have enjoyed crisper fries but overall very well prepared. The desserts were both delicious, napoleon that was like a cronut filled with a lemon cream and cheesecake with blueberry topping. Our server was very attentive as were the bus boys.

   Amazing dinner! It was my boyfriends birthday. They gave him a card, dinner was exceptional, the drinks were great, and we didn’t order dessert so they gave us each a free glass of Prosecco. So nice! Would definitely go back.

   The James was a busy place, and the restaurant was gorgeous. We had a family celebration with six people. The food was delicious, and the value and portions were very reasonable. Our only complaint was that it was so loud that it was deafening. We could not hear the person sitting next to us; we were at a round table. We all were continuously leaning in to hear one another. Also, valet parking was unavailable because the space allotted to them was full, and we arrived at 5:45 PM. The parking out of the valet was a nightmare.

   Had a great experience at the James! The fried calamari was delicious, really enjoyed our cocktails- the signature Negroni and the signature old fashion, the entrees were as equally as delicious. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and we really enjoyed the beef Wellington.

   The restaurant is beautiful. The food is no where close to the price tag that accompanies it. The dessert was the best part. 2/4 drinks where liked by the people we were will. Overall extremely disappointing and will not be returning.

   The James was an exceptional dining experience! They offer valet parking and excellent service. The food selection is limited but carefully curated, focusing on high-quality, cuisine. We began with some caviar bumps, which were fantastic. The caviar (kaluga) was infused with vodka, creating a unique and flavorful experience. For our main course, we opted for the surf and turf, tomahawk steak with lobster tail, accompanied by creamy mashed potatoes and delicious in-house truffle butter. To wash it all down, we paired our food with their signature margaritas and espresso martinis. The margaritas were refreshing and perfectly balanced, while the espresso martini was a delightful shot of espresso with vodka and coffee liqueur. To end our evening on a sweet note, we indulged in a delicious dessert that resembled a lava cake with flames, ice cream, and caramel sauce. (Forget the name) Overall, it was a lovely evening, and while the prices may be a bit higher, it’s definitely worth every penny. Best steak and lobster I’ve had on LI in a long time.

    I believe our server was Desmond. Super helpful very attractive and created an awesome experience. Food was excellent. Lively crowd, I think because of the high ceilings it creates a very loud experience. Great for groups. Music that comes on after 9-9:30 was awesome. Overall great dining experience.
