   So rude. Rushed us off our table after hour and 15 mins. Dinner come up 5 minutes after being ordered so didn’t feel fresh. Overall waste of money, waste of time.

   Great food and amazing service! The only downside is that it was super noisy so I couldn't have a conversation with a friend I was with

   Disappointing breakfast experience. Very slow service (surprising as there appeared to be more staff than customers)and luke warm food. Weak excuse from the manager. Such a shame as breakfast at an Ivy when in London has always been something to look forward to.

   The food was undeniably delicious, but sadly, the overall experience was tarnished by the service. We encountered lengthy waits to be served and to have our plates cleared, which was disappointing. Additionally, several menu items were unavailable, and we were informed of this about five minutes after placing our order. While these issues were frustrating, the most significant problem was the behaviour of one waiter. He was tall with dark hair tied in a top knot and pencilled eyebrows, and his manner was abrupt and dismissive. On multiple occasions, he ignored our attempts to get his attention to clear our plates, and at one point, curtly told us to "wait a minute" when we tried to order a drink. Unfortunately, his attitude overshadowed the positives, leaving us reluctant to return and spend over £200 here again. However, one waitress, a young woman with a septum piercing, stood out as polite and attentive, embodying the professionalism one would expect from such an establishment.

   I was overcharged and the bill was only amended when I pointed this out to the waiter. We ordered 3 Festive sets and 2 Sunday roasts meals. The waiter billed us separately for some of the main courses. As a result, the total incorrect amount charged was 409.91 pounds, when the actual bill should have been 291.58 pounds. It’s a timely reminder to check the itemised bill carefully before paying. Apart from this, it was a good experience. The staff servicing us were pleasant and efficient even though the main courses took a very long time to be served (lunch booking was at 1.15pm and mains were finally brought round at 3pm) The restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere and the ambience was lively and relaxed.

   Booked a table for my daughter’s birthday & stated that on the reservation. Felt like we’d been processed rather than served. Atmosphere was decent but food was very plain & uninspiring. Ordered cocktails on arrival but never asked again if we’d like another drink. In & out for cocktails, starter & mains in one & a quarter hours. By the end we’re actually glad to go. Won’t be rushing back….

   It was a Saturday afternoon, and two of us went for the Champagne cream tea. Champagne, three freshly baked scones with clotted cream, strawberry jam, and strawberries, plus your choice of tea or coffee. Excellent! The restaurant was busy, so a little noisy, but not excessively so.

   Food was okay and servers did their jobs accordingly. However...we found a long hair from pumpkin soup. A knife was broken while cutting a steak. We did ordered side dishes which were a part of festive set menu only to find they didn't come out. Maybe folks might have been busy. Looking forward to something better next time.

    It was a bad experience overall. Last Thursday (5 Dec 2024) I went with a client after reserving a table for 8 pm. We were both on time. However was waiting at the entrance for over 30 minutes and at the bar for the next 30 minutes and multiple reminders before a table was given. What is the point of reserving?! My reservation email is still with me despite that at some point during this 1 hour they don't have my reservation on the system anymore! Care to explain? When we were seated there was no apology and I told them at least the 1 glass of wine we ordered at the bar should be on the house. They of course conveniently forgot! Waiters interrupted us so many times after we sat down cutting our conversation that it was irritating and they were shameless to add service charge on the bill! The standards at Ivy have dropped severely. Please don't go. I won't recommend the place.
