    Staff were good. Shown to our table by someone polite but going through the motions, not especially warm or welcoming. Waiting staff were attentive and helpful. One cocktail was returned as it was missing the chocolate snowman garnish (which was the whole point of the drink). Had we been told they had no “snowmen” left it wouldn’t have been ordered (which felt wasteful). Everything else was great from our waiting staff. Food was OK - presentation was not as good as usual and portions were smaller than usual but tasted good. Not sure why brunch eggs benedict and eggs royale needed to arrive with chips at 11am! Not our best visit to this Ivy to be honest. It was just OK overall. A bit of a shame on Boxing Day morning.

    The server didn't even greet us for 25 minutes and the restaurant was surprisingly empty for being a holiday. He took our order and we never saw him again. Had to ask a nice woman by the bar for a refill of water. Asked to speak with manager and he didn't really seem to care. Don't recommend. There are so many other restaurants nearby who want your business

    Great food at a price we felt reasonable for the quality. My Prawn & Lobster cocktail was very good. We both had shepherds pie which was amazing. Only issue the waitress seemed confused when we ordered 2 glasses of pink champagne and bought rose wine instead, even when we challenged her she maintained it was champagne. A more senior member of staff resolved the issue. We would thoroughly recommend The Ivy

    Great service and very friendly. Got a little busy and that meant the attentive nature to start dropped off. And the food was pricy for what it was. But delicious.

    Everything was lovely except one thing . The sauce on the prawn and lobster cocktail was very vinegary and overpowered the taste of the lovely prawns and lobster cocktail. Such a shame .

    Enjoyed the evening, first time at the Bath Ivy and isn't the standard of others in the chain. Food was good but it's in need of some updating especially the toilets that were a bit grim.
