   Excellent food. Service was very slow, 35 min wait for tap water. Wine arrived after our starters. Very noisy. The food was amazing though and we'd go back.

   The Ivy Asia Cardiff did not disappoint. Premium Experience menu was a great introduction to the restaurant. The quality and taste of the food was excellent. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant was very good. Certainly will be returning!

   Having not visited Ivy Asia for over a Year we were reminded of what we have been missing fabulous food great attentive service in great surroundings I mentioned on booking it was my birthday 🎂 and they provided a cake 🎂 for us

   We have eaten here many times but were very disappointed on this occasion. The service was incredibly slow. Five out of six of us had finished our starters before the remaining one finally arrived, despite enquiring on several occasions. We had to wait between 10 and 15 minutes before our drinks arrived after ordering them. This happened every time. The food was good though. We had sweet & sour prawns, Gochujang chicken & Ssamjang chicken skewers to start which were very good. For mains we had Honey chicken & choi sum, and pork belly which were very good but the Thai green chicken curry was quite dry. We were not asked at any point if we required anything. We were celebrating our son’s birthday but left feeling very disappointed with the slow service and lack of attention considering this is supposed to be a very upmarket restaurant.
