   Second time and to Ivy Asia and felt like a first. Lovely friendly staff though they were too young to recognise Ian Botham when he sat down ! Had the second experience taster menu it was divine. Really enjoyed every dish. Thank you we will be back

   We had booked the Ivy Asia experience for our Anniversary and on arrival were shown to our table…. Which was slightly smaller than expected and near to the till area … the waitress explained the menu but we mentioned we’d already booked the experience menu as it was our first time visiting. The food was amazing and service was excellent but I was slightly disappointed with our table given it was a special occasion … will visit again but will ask for a better table … it was very busy and felt the 3 tables by the till had been placed to deal with the additional capacity

   Food experience menu was lovely but pricey. Spices on the food certainly provided experience of Asian food which I could not replicate but mainly vegetables

    We really enjoyed our night at the Ivy Asia Cardiff however there was one element of the meal that was not quite right We ordered the lobster duck rice which was described as spicy on the menu however it was too spicy to enjoy. My wife and I were celebrating Song krahn as she is Thai as such we are used to eating spicy foods. The level on this dish this time was too much though. I mentioned it to the server who simply smiled and walked away. This did not spoilt the evening it is just a minor error
