Welcome to The Italian House on Park! Thank you for inquiring about reservations. We are currently open for dine in and carryout Tuesday through Saturday evenings. We are taking patio requests. However, no patio seating is guaranteed. Please note, reservations cannot be accommodated with extra people when arriving. If you need additional seating, please call the restaurant directly. Took the server 10 minutes to get a drink order. He didn’t say hello I’ll be with you in a moment or anything. When he took our drink order we ordered two glasses of the same wine. He tried to switch me to another wine, saying it was similar. I am in the wine business, and I know the two wines weren’t similar. And if they are similar why are you trying to get me to switch? Bread service with olive oil and pesto was delicious. Loved it. Our salads were amazing. My caprese was spot on and my foancees beet salad was also delicious. I asked the server to check a vintage on an obscure white wine they had by the glass. Obscure whites are fun and I was interested if there was a fresh vintage. There were two wines… I asked him to check both. He mentioned something about a Pinot Grigio. I told him I was interested in the other two whites and to please check their vintages. He comes back and tells me the Pinot Grigio vintage. I told him that I had asked about the vintages of the two obscure whites. “Oh… well I asked about the Pinot Grigio.” Please go check the others as I c am not interested in the Pinot Grigio. The vintages were old. But…. He wasn’t listening. Server times the entrees wrong. They came too fast so my fiance was still eating her salad. No big deal… that happens. But still. Too fast you’d think the entrees would be hot. Neither entree was. My fish was fine but my veggies were luke warm. They would have been great if they were cooked to the proper temperature. My fiances food was also not hot. That is a chef/expo problem. The hot food should be hot… all of it. No manager visited our table at all. I would have liked to have seen them, hoping they listened better than our server. We eat out a lot all over the city. There are tons of great places. We don’t need to give this a second chance.

I never write reviews but this is the 2nd time we’ve been and it just gets more awkward every time. From incorrect descriptions of the food to wait staff taking plates off the table while we were literally still eating. It felt extremely rushed especially after it took so long to receive our drinks. I guess we were supposed to be studying the menu during that time and not catching up with our friends. The food was absolutely sub par. Tiny portions and blah, unappetizing presentation. It’s too bad because I know it’s been waaaay better, all around, in the past.

once again, everything was so lovely and SO DELICIOUS! i brought my daughter here for her birthday dinner as she loves italian & had never been. she was so happy & loved her meal, appetizer & desserts! our server was wonderful! every time i come here i can't wait to come back!

Excellent service from Ashley. Jenna stopped by to check on things. Food well prepared and delicious. Not rushed. Well paced. Nice decorations for the holidays.

We have been here many times. Most visits have been inside the house. One time in the summer we sat outside. This time we got out in the back house where the sports bar is which was fine we wanted to experience it. But there were knats EVERYWHERE. They had the lock to the door as locked so it would prop the door open for some reason which we think why the knats were in there. A few people complained to the servers about it and no one would shut the door all the way. I just know I’m putting my foot down if they ever seat us in the back house again because that was miserable.
