* The Iguana Restaurant is an open-air restaurant, that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and serves contemporary Mexican cuisine in an elegant ambiance. Retractable walls take advantage of gentle coastal breezes and crystal chandeliers add soft light while water dances in the adjacent courtyard fountain. The dining room wraps around an outdoor patio with shady palms and another central fountain. In between is nestled the boutique Tequila Bar, serving a wide array of top-flight tequilas and mezcals.

    My friend and I enjoyed our girls night out and had a spectacular time! The food was divine and the ambience and location absolutely beautiful! We would totally go back again.

    This place is lovely to come have a cocktail and appetizers and for the historic ambience but the menu is pretty limited. Service was outstanding I wish I could say I was blown away by the food! I’d come back but likely just for a drink and apps.

    What a great experience. We were about 20 minutes early (no worry, they seated us right away). One of our guests in our party was sick and they updated the reservation right away. The service was fast, and polite. I had the ceviche for starters and the camaróns a la diablo. I am extremely happy with my choice. I recommend a 6:15-6:30 reservation if you want to enjoy the sunset at the beginning of March.

    The ambience is exceptional topped great service, with a high quality of food. This is our favorite restaurant in Puerta Vallarta. If you go it will not disappoint.
