Located in The Park, West Palm Beach’s premier golf destination, is a modern locally inspired restaurant with a diverse menu that pulls inspiration and ingredients from Florida’s natural environment. The House is admired for its sense of place, warm hospitality, and creative menu. Set within an approachable, yet still refined atmosphere, The House is poised to transform the traditional golf course dining experience. 

Open for lunch, brunch and dinner, with inside seating and a large patio guests can experience a bounty of creative dishes such as a spiny lobster “corndog” to a shrimp scampi pizza. This place has a lot of potential, but a few things should be addressed. It may be why more than half of the tables were empty on a Saturday night. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation, and were told we would be seated shortly. With so many empty tables, it was odd that we were made to wait until our reservation time, but we’re easy going, so we got a drink at the bar and waited. The bar was nice enough, and we had good service from the barmaid. Beer and wine selection was fine. Ambience: For a Saturday night, it could have been a little better. Lights could be dimmer and the piped-in music was barely audible over the sound of people talking. It’s not that people were talking loudly, it’s that the music was just too low. They should consider hiring a musician to play some nice acoustic guitar with backing tracks. Between that and dimming the lights, this could be a nice romantic place to go on a date. Service: Our’s could have been more attentive. We asked a server if we could get more drinks, and we waited at least 10 minutes before our server came by, but with no drinks. We asked again, and he came back with them after 5 more minutes. He was pleasant enough when he was there, but should just simply take notice of people sitting with empty glasses, particularly when they’re still waiting for their food. Food: The bread was quite good, but could have been EPIC had it been served warmer and with softer butter that was whipped with a touch of honey. We’d go back just for that. Crispy Shrimp & Calamari: good. Baby Gem Caesar: bad. Dressing was tasteless, it was smothered in cheese and whole anchovies should have been minced into dressing w/some addt’l seasoning. Mushroom pizza: good. The crust was great, but mushrooms were scarce and goat cheese could have been distributed more evenly. We didn’t rule out trying here again, but might give it a little time to maybe work out the kinks, as it really COULD be a good go-to spot with some minor improvements.

Happy Hour was great. Good selection of wines and liquors as well as food. Food presentation was lovely and service was exceptional. Our server was extremely accommodating and pleasant. Our friends had never been there and they were pleasantly surprised at how much fun the evening was. Everything went smoothly. Will go again.

Loved the view overlooking the golf course! The restaurant decor is very pleasant and well done! Could use some more variety for the food! Generous portions, the dressings for the salads were very different and good. Not for everyone! Enjoyed my lunch experience!
