This was our first visit to this restaurant since it became The Grill. We had very much enjoyed the restaurant under its previous ownership and weren't sure what to expect with the new one. We were pleasantly surprised. At first we were taken aback at how the limited the menu was, but what we found was that the dishes we selected were very well prepared and delicious. I had the Prawn Alfredo which came with three huge tiger prawns cooked to perfection, and papardelle in a creamy alfredo sauce. The pasta was al dente, just the way I like it. My husband had the Sea Bass which was also perfectly prepared and served on a bed of mashed potatoes. My husband wanted to see if the potatoes could be substituted for the risoto, but there would have been an upcharge for that substitution, so he stuck with the potatoes. The dessert menu was even more limited with only macarons served with ice cream or creme brulee as the two options. We went for the macarons but were told they were out of ice cream and would substitute in a scoop of raspberry sorbet. That was ok with us. The macarons were huge and were very good. There were three of them; we ate two and brought the third one home to enjoy later. The service was excellent; our waiter was very attentive without hovering. We opted for an early seating and were glad we did because the restaurant was relatively quiet which we preferred. Overall, it was a very good dining experience.

Nice dinner, food was good, I thought the Ribeye was on the thin side for the price paid but the flavor was good.

Long wait. Three guests and everyone’s food was cold. Menu changed the day of our reservation and the menu choices we were looking forward to was no longer available. It was my mom’s birthday brunch and we were disappointed. Our service and food in the past was excellent therefore we expected the same today. Going back? Not likely.

Wanting to go here for years and they’ve been opening and closing for a while . not much of a menu choice. Quite a few seafood dishes, and two beef dishes, one of which they were out of stock on. It’s a beautiful location and the staff were friendly. Just a few issues with a dirty table and silverware, no toilet paper in the bathroom, things like that. I think we’ll give it another try because we are trying to support local business.

The Grill has a nice atmosphere and my cocktail was fine. The Brussel Sprout appetizer was drenched with sautéed onions with balsamic vinegar - all piled on one side of the platter and the overall appearance looked like leftovers on a plate. Very heavy-handed. My friend ordered the risotto with seafood and ordered it with "milder" spicy. It was still very chili-dominate, but overall, tasted fine with the seafood (shrimp, scallops...) cooked appropriately. My halibut with a potato square and asparagus was extremely overcooked. It was served in a sea of tomato based vodka sauce. Perhaps appropriate if served on a bed of pasta, but it wasn't. The two small pieces of halibut were extremely over-cooked, dry and tasteless. There were three, very slim asparagus spears also over-cooked. The brownie with a side of ice cream could have been plated better. The taste was fine. Overall, very disappointing. I probably will not return.

Pleasantly surprised how good the food was. We went for brunch. The steak and egg’s were excellent, good flavor and cooked perfectly. The prime rib egg’s Benedict was fantastic! Breakfast potatoes were also very good. They had gluten free bread which was nice for me.
