Good for business meals

Located in the building of the original Carmel Theater that opened circa 1938. A local restaurateur is bringing back to Historic Carmel, the Grill on Ocean Ave., come and taste the Fusion of Mid-East inspired dishes with Latin infused flavors. Vegan dishes such as Chargrilled Spicy Cauliflower with a Coriander Tahini dip or Grilled Castroville Artichokes with a Lemon Garlic Aioli topped with Fresh Pico Salsa. Not to mention, a large enough to share mouthwatering Surf 'n' Turf Fajita, or try the Grilled Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, last but not lease save room for Vanilla Ice Cream infused with Orange Blossom or our In-house made Orange Peel Crème Brûlée. Quaint atmosphere and corner 2 seater Loved the lentil soup and pasta primavera (Would love if you add broccoli and zucchini to pasta dish) Highly recommend

Was expecting a higher end dining experience. This location is really just a basic place with average service. Was not terrible, but at the prices and the expectations was expecting much better experience. With all the amazing options in carmel, they would have to up their game to get us to return.

This is a great restaurant to visit. An excellent menu with good choices, not too fussy. Very attentive service in a relaxed environment Very fine Tiramisu!

We had a nice quiet seat by the window. I would NOT recommend the filet mignon. It was horrible. It was stew quality chuck at the best.

The food was amazing. Ambience was just right. Service was impeccable and the owner is very personable. Will definitely make another trip back to this establishment.

We made a reservation through open table which was confirmed. When we arrived for the dinner the restaurant was empty of personnel and no one was there. There was a closed sign on the door. I double checked the reservation and the restaurant’s website for info about the hours of operation, etc. it was supposed to be open. We were very disappointed. We will try again another time when we are in town as we have heard it’s very good.
