   The entry to the restaurant is so unique and immediately sets a great vibe. The tables and views and ambience are incredible, the food was delicious. The service may have been the worst we’ve experienced in a long time. There were plenty of people working and it was packed, but it just felt confused. We sat for about 10 minutes until greeted (no problem, the views make it fine to wait) we ordered a couple of drinks and water and put in 2 appetizers because we were starving. The wait for drinks was probably another 20 minutes, in fact our appetizers showed up and we asked if they could bring the drinks too. They asked us again what drinks we ordered. We had the tuna tacos and some dumpling dish that was outstanding and thankfully I still had a water bottle in my bag from earlier in the day so we all shared that to wash down the appetizers until our drinks arrived. We knew we should put the food order in as soon as someone looked us in the eye. This is when the server asked someone to take our used dishes and wipe down the table. A young woman accidentally spilled my husbands Paloma and it went all over the table. She didn’t say anything but wiped it up, set his empty glass in front of him and walked away - no new drink, like never happened. This is where we just found it comical and listened to the waves and enjoyed the company and rest of our delicious meal when it arrived. It’s a special place. Just set the bar as absolutely low as possible for service.

   We love the Green Room and have enjoyed excellent food and service many times since it has opened. We live in La Paz full time and frequently plan visits to the restaurant because of the great ambience and food. Generally the service is also outstanding. However, yesterday it was not. We had our order taken by the waiter and it was delivered by the servers in a timely manner. But we never saw the waiter again. We looked for him to order wine with our meal. He did stop by to flirt with the 3 girls next to us twice. In the meantime, we ordered wine from the girl picking up our completed meal dishes. And, then waited about 20+ minutes for the glasses of wine. Seeing the waiter at the table with the girls, we interrupted and asked where the wine was. He then said it was coming. This type of service is not the normal at The Green Room. I might add that the restaurant was not that busy. We will return in hopes that service is improved. The food is definitely great!

   We made a reservation to celebrate my son’s birthday and Christmas. I made the reservation over a month in advance and asked for the best table. We were sat in the very back which was a bummer. The restaurant didn’t acknowledge his birthday at all. The ambiance of the restaurant is amazing and we went at sunset. The drinks are delicious and most of the food was excellent. My sons ribeye was pretty tough and the salmon was overcooked but all the tapas were delicious! It’s fairly pricey but the view is really what makes it special.

   We were super excited for our Christmas Eve dinner there unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. Ambience was great, Christmas on the beach. Drinks were good. Service was ok. Food felt like they barely tried, lunchroom food at best. Salad was not dressed at all, the produce was fresh which is why it was the best tasting dish. Meat and fish were bland and tasted old/frozen. Go for a drink and a view skip the food.

   Amazing special place. Watched the sunset and whales while sipping cocktails and eating elevated fun fresh Mexican seafood dishes high up on the beach.

    The best spot to have a drink and dinner on the beach and watch the sunset over the waves. Drinks okay. Food okay. Service okay. Ambiance over the top. Worth the view and setting.
