We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The salmon and tuna tacos were fabulous. We both had short ribs and they were delicious. Dessert was also a treat with the key lime pie. Our waiter was extremely accommodating.

We went for the Prix Fixe X-Mas dinner… Particularly the Prime Rib which they unfortunately ran out of- That was quite disappointing. My husband, did however enjoy the Filet Mignon replacement. My only other complaint is that this restaurant does not seem to offer a nice bread— even for purchase. I enjoy the popovers at the Red Horse and wished The Goat offered that as well…Otherwise, service was good and food was quite enjoyable, very good value as well we thought.

We went for Christmas dinner. Seated upstairs which had zero ambiance. 2 prime rib dinners were good. Short ribs were fatty, no bone, and a sloppy mess in the plate. Service was inexperienced and uneducated. Our meals were passed across the table to our hands. we had soup spoons given to eat pie! Not a great experience at all.

Hi Jeanne, Firstly let me thank you for dining with us on Christmas Day, we don't take it lightly when guests are here celebrating with us. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed the Prime Rib but the Short Ribs and overall service fell short. We here at The GOAT by David Burke hold ourselves to a higher standard and I apologize for the lack of professional service. You indeed had one of our newest employees serve you, and I appreciate the things you had brought to my attention. We hope to see you soon. RJ Taylor General Manager

Two of us were sat at a small table for two when there were larger tables available. Waiter poured us water from a Saratoga bottle which we thought was sparkling , but it was still. Most restaurants ask first if you want sparkling or still. Our waiter told us there were no specials , but we heard the waitress later telling the table next to us about the night special. The menu has the catch of the day on it , but we were told there was no catch of the day , to order the salmon , which is always on the menu. Had the Friday night strip steak , which was a good bargain for $42 and included salad , glass of wine and nice sized steak. Desert was excellent.

Our waitress Amanda was fantastic! The only thing I was disappointed about was no popovers on the bread menu. We look forward to them at every David Burke restaurant.

We were looking for a great midway location and I was thrilled to find The GOAT! We could enjoy a fabulous meal and hear each other talk. 2 of our party are hearing challenged so this was very much appreciated. The bruschetta appetizer was perfect, house wine delicious and all our entree choices and dessert were fabulous.
