Excellent service. We were early in the day - just as they were opening - but still got treated wonderfully

We come here nearly monthly before catching a show at Playhouse Square. The food is decent, the drinks are very good and the staff is very friendly and capable. We started coming for the convenience but it is now like our own Cheers - we are very comfortable and the staff go out of their way to be nice and welcoming.

We were seated promptly, drinks served quickly, appetizers (onion soups, pot stickers were delicious. Entrees were delivered while still eating apps. Main complaint is 2 of us ordered the same item and they were presented differently. One had nice slices of beef, pearl onions, and bacon pieces that were obvious. The other was not so nicely plated, with one (two?) pieces of bacon, no pearl onions and a very large piece of fatty gristle. We did not bring this to anyone's attention as time did not allow us, tickets to a show. We will go back and give it 2nd chance.

Stopped on our way to the theater for the night. Our table was ready upon arrival at the time our reservation. Waitstaff was very friendly, but service was spotty and staff members seemed overwhelmed and rushed between tables. Our meals were disappointing at best. My wife ordered onion soup and an order of brussel sprouts. The soup seemed rushed from the kitchen, with the cheese on top barely melted. The brussel sprouts were undercooked tired not quite enough sauce (though admittedly the amount of sauce is very much personal preference). I ordered the brick pressed chicken, which was very disappointing. The skin of the chicken was soggy and rubbery, while the meat itself was underseasoned and bland. I did enjoy the potatoes shed peppers that came with the chicken. Overall the meat was very underwhelming,

We enjoyed our first experience at the Ghost Light Restaurant. Our server, Tekesha, was attentive, although it was obvious that she was overly busy. We had plenty of time before our show, so it was not an issue. The food was delicious and plentiful —I had the butternut squash soup and the fish and chips and it was so good. My companions had the short rib and the chicken and gnocchi and both loved their choices. I like the openness of the room and the absence of tvs—made for easy conversation and a more relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely include this restaurant in our pre-theater choices in the future.

Cato was a wonderful server! Professional, knowledgeable and kind. The special drink was delicious. We ordered appetizers for our main meal. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked but tasty, pretzel was tasty but salty, potstickers were good but the best part was the bananas foster for dessert we were not rushed which made for an enjoyable meal. We would recommend this restaurant and its location is great for a theater experience.

Very disappointed! We have gone before most Playhouse Square performances and last night was probably our last visit. The cost for what we received was awful. $12 brussel sprouts had at most 10 Brussels halved. The $10 add on salmon was the skimpiest piece I have ever gotten. The chicken on salad so over cooked he could barely swallow it. Doubtful we will return. It’s a shame because it’s great proximity to Playhouse Square

Great place for pre theater. Food and service was very good. Chicken caesar salad, butternut squash soup and pot stickers were delish.
