   We went for the first time for the Easter Brunch. Unfortunately this was not a great experience as it was unorganized, chaotic and the staff was stressed and not attentive. We had our first course come out after 30 minutes, and that came in 3 different deliveries. Then when we got our second course it was 5 minutes and the last course was already out. Our waitress was stressed and did not handle the situation well or up front. Only later finally apologizing and saying that it was a disaster and that she and the restaurant are not usually like this. On the positive side the food was outstanding and the value was great for the brunch. For that reason we will give this restaurant another chance.

   We have been to The Genuine several times and liked it. That’s why we returned. Our experience on Easter was the most horrible experience ever. The hostess was rude and didn’t know what she was doing. She said there were no tables available. I went right on Open Table at 11:22 am to book a table at 11:30 am. We literally went in the parking lot to book the table and walked right back in the restaurant . The staff all looked confused and the service was extremely slow. Tables were not getting food in a timely manner. The general manager had a lackadaisical attitude. Needless to say, we will not step foot back in this establishment. The bad service was enough to not go back.

   Michelle I'm sorry you felt my attitude was lackadaisical that was not at all what I was going for. I was trying to be as understanding as possible and know that yesterday was not our best day, we are learning from it though and that is how we get better. I did also mention coming back in and that I would gladly take care of your meal for the inconvenience. We value the feedback we get and value our guests even more. We hate to have anyone leave unhappy. Please let me know if you would like to come back so we can make it right.

   We live in the neighborhood and this was our first time in, and we will be back! Started with the bruschetta as appetizer and it came out quickly and was delicious with slices of pear and a honey drizzle. For mains we ordered the half roasted chicken with fingerling potatoes and carrots, and this was the highlight of the meal! Also split the bolognese and the pasta tasted authentic and homemade, sauce was meaty and rich. We sat in the lounge/bar area with the seated cushions and small setting tables. The vibe was immaculate and a good mix of TVs for sports along with an upscale kick. Pricing was way more reasonable than I imagined….go check them out! They have found a regular in me!

   We had a disappointing experience this time. It had been several months since we had visited. There two couples. One couple had the bolognese and enjoyed it. My husband and I had Caesar salads that were very gritty. They seemed to be full of sand. The server took them back and we weren’t charged for them. My husband then ordered the chicken tortilla soup. It took a long time to get the soup, which should have been readily available. There was no concern shown for the salad mishap, and service was generally slow. In the past, we attended one of the wine dinners. It was an excellent experience. We have also had other nice dinners here. Hopefully, this was just an off night.

   This was a same day reservation for a party of 11 to celebrate a birthday after our previous plan/reservation could not accommodate us with the addition of more guests. The Genuine served up great food, fabulous service and a great vibe. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend no matter what size of group you have.

   First time in, and we will be back. Great food and atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We had calamari, chicken pips, salad and parmasian chicken all we would order again.

   Delightful experience. The baconwrapped dates and broccolini were the best I've ever had and the rest of the food menu was a treat. Friendly service and wonderful atmosphere and vibe inside. Will return.
