   The food and the service was incredible, the only negative was the family who bought there incredibly loud kids and made no effort to control there volume, not the restaurants fault. Wish we got our servers name as they were amazing and very accommodating

   As always, food excellent, service excellent. Glad we were able to book. Staff are helpful and don't rush you. They accommodate my dietary requirements perfectly.

   The fish was lovely, batter was light and crispy. The chips were pale and tasteless. I asked for potatoes with mine. The menu said they were ‘buttered new potatoes’ they weren’t new and they weren’t buttered. Peas (garden not mushy) were tinned. Grey-green colour and tinned. One glass of wine (nice) one bottle of water, £48. Very disappointing.

   A great place to have fish in all styles A proper fish restaurant not a fish and chip cafe. Though you can get fish and chips. Today we had moules (mussels) and sole meunieaire.

   The blonde waitress with the heart earring is a credit to the company, she was smiling the whole time. Couldn't find her at the end as wanted to personally thank her. Shame the mussels ran out, but the food we had we thoroughly enjoyed. Thought it was really reasonably priced. The only thing I would change would be the lighting to be softer, it is very bright. Would 100% go back.

   Fantastic meal as usual. Always some of the best seafood in Whitby, fantastic views and lovely people who work there. Always one of the first places we book when visiting Whitby.
