It was just fine. I wish I could say more about it, but the wings were just OK.

The hostess was nice as well as our waitress. The music was awesome just what my daughter and I were looking for. The drinks were okay, while the food was really good. Had to test the skills of the cook. So we got the soul plate. Fried chicken was good could use a bit more seasoning but had a good crisp. The mac n cheese really good. Yams looked under seasoned, but they were not, they were delicious! But them collard greens, literally the best I've ever had in a restaurant! Would I go again? Absolutely. Would a recommend? Oh yeah definitely!

Our waitress was new but very nice and attentive. The restaurant was out of bacon, sausage and lobster. The lamb chops were very small but did have a good flavor. The grits were really good but unfortunately were cold. The music was super loud for it to be a smaller space, but the DJ was playing some good songs. About 5 minutes after we were seated at 1pm, we were told that at 3pm there was another reservation and that if we were not finished we would have to find a seat at the bar if there was room available. I was a little taken aback by that. Overall I'd say it was just an ok experience.

This was some of the BEST Soul Food I have had in years! Excellent Food, good drinks, amazing live singer and saxophone. I went on a Monday Night for Soul Food and live music and it was better than I could of expected!

Music too loud and vulgar. Great location. Average service. Taco Tuesday night was ok. Can’t order sides on this night. Wanted an order of fries but was told the restaurant doesn’t offer sides, you have to order the meal.

I was visiting Tampa from NC and chose this restaurant to meet family members who live in the area as Marlon Boone and Cienna Alida were suppose to perform but had a last minute change in their schedules. The waitress was polite and attentive. The host was friendly. My meal was delicious (catfish, collards, mac n cheese). Two of my guest had chicken and waffles. The chicken was delicious but the waffles were doughy, undercooked and uneatable. There was a puddle of water at the women's bathroom door which I had to step over. The atmosphere and music was nice. I would consider coming back again on my next visit to Tampa.

It was very very loud… they had very few comfortable seats and tried to sit us at a high top crowded next to others. It was dirty, there was some kind of flooding on the floor next to the bathrooms and there was no soap or paper towels. We did not stay to eat so I don’t know how the food is

Everything was great, from the security guard, to the hostess, and most importantly, the food. The lobster & grits was fresh & flavorful, and the drink was pretty solid as well.
