I go to The Enterprise often, and enjoy the food, excellent service and ambience. I took advantage of the 30% off in January, a generous offer by The Enterprise to draw customers during "dry January". It might have been my imagination, but I thought the portions were slightly smaller and the dishes less "complete" than I recall from prior visits. For example, I found £24.95 for fish and chips (nothing else, no mushy peas, etc) on the high side, since most pubs are £16-£20. And the portion was far from grandiose. This is why I think the value was not exceptional in spite of the 30% off. My bill for four was still around £300, albeit that included two bottles of moderately priced wine. This reflects the 30% off of food and drink (but not service, fair enough). The service and ambience were brilliant as always.
