   Awesome experience. The salmon was one of the best I’ve ever had, service was impeccable. Really love this spot.

   Good service. The Hot Chicken was neither hot (spicy) nor hot (temp) and a bit soggy. Fries were pretty good. Chablis was decent. Not feeling compelled to return but would recommend against it hence the three stars

   Parker rolls delicious as well as crab cake for appetizers. Very good staff and entrees all very flavorful! Love the big booths too!

   The food is mediocre, my husbands steak entree arrived cold. Our waitress only engaged with us to order initially and then for the bill; we had to flag her down to order drinks/ next round. It was definitely disappointing end to a nice date evening, we won’t return.

   The food was sooooo good! We had the New York Strip and the Short Ribs and they were both amazing. Cocktails were great, service was speedy and very friendly. Highly recommend!!

   First time at Edison…… love the inside of the place with a great long bar. Food was excellent and other than our server, the staff was extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend.

    This was my first visit to the Edison and I had heard good things so was excited to visit. I was greeted at the door by two very cheerful hosts who promptly walked me to my table where my friends were already sitting. Our waitress was cheerful and friendly and greeted me quickly. I ordered a Black Dahlia and it was delicious-got a second one with my dinner. For dinner I ordered a New York Strip and a House Salad. I appreciated that the menu has clearly marked items that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian. It was with the dinner service that I was disappointed. My steak was ordered Medium-rare and was done correctly but it had little flavor and was only lukewarm, as were the bordelaise sauce and the roasted shallots that came with it. The meat was tougher than I'd think would be fitting of a quality steak. For the price, I would expect a prime cut and this was most likely choice or even select cut. The salad was sizable, but absolutely drenched in the dressing thus making it very soggy. The menu said it would have goat cheese, dried figs, and candied walnuts and it was difficult to find these extras in the soggy lettuce bed. (The sherry vinaigrette was tasty though even if there was way too much). My companion also ordered a steak, (the filet), and we both had to ask for a steak knife, which I feel should be placed on the table without asking. So, in summary, the staff was cheerful and eager to please-maybe they got a little bit overseated, as it got really busy, and a few details got missed but that is not their fault. The cocktails were fantastic. Location and vibe were on point. But...the kitchen was a definite disappointment and I did come for the food, thus only 3 stars. I would return for a cocktail and the ambiance but not for a meal.

I am concerned with regard to the cuisine and drop off in service. I have brought your thoughtful notes to my executive chef and our sous chef as well as the management team so that we may work to understand and correct our missteps immediately. We will be working with our servers to coach them on proper attention to detail, particularly when presetting a table for the next course.
