Unfortunately our Christmas Eve dining experience was marred by an extremely long wait for any food to arrive - over 90 mins. Once it did arrive, it was very good, but there was so little communication from the staff to the all the customers waiting despite many enquiries / complaints. Not sure what happened this time round, as previous visits were fantastic. It's also worth noting that the staff did deduct all drinks and service from the bill as a good will gesture :)

Unfortunately this restaurant prices itself as being a bit more high end but the service and the food let it down on this occasion. We sat down for breakfast and ordered drinks at 9.55 and we received our drinks 35 minutes later at the same time our food came out. The staff seemed uninterested and not very speedy and the 12.5% tip seems like it should be optional (it does not say that on the bill), especially when service has not been great. The food was ok, again, price not reflecting quality. I ordered a mimosa and it was the tiniest drink you ever did see! It’s such a shame as the interiors are beautiful, but this can’t be relied on entirely to justify poor customer service and overpriced average food. This place has so much potential but it just lets itself down in many ways.

Perfectly ok restsurant, but bill came to £100 and it didn't feel like a £100 meal. Duck was good, but the plate presentation was mostly mash potato. Starter was a small portion Terrine for £10. Mains were £25 and £24 respectively, which was too high. Loved the decor.
