The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. We excel in offering the best meat and fresh seafood hand selected by our longtime executive chef that would delight even the most discriminating of taste. Some of the menu highlights include the Bacon Wrapped Filet, Delmonico New York, Prime Rib and Shrimp Scampi. We offer a wide selection of wines by the bottle and by the glass. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal in one of our iconic red leather booths, take in a beautiful evening on our terrace, or watch a sporting event in our bar and lounge.     We had a wonderful time at The DERBY tonight. All of our servers were amazing. Jamison spent the most time with us. He was thorough, attentive, funny, and just plain enjoyable. The food was exceptional. The assistant general manager stopped by to see how we were doing. We were able to support an animal rescue organization, enjoy a delicious meal, celebrate a birthday, and relax for over two hours. It was an incredible night, indeed.
