    Amazing experience at The DelMar Restaurant this evening. We enjoyed the best cocktails and food that we have had on island since arriving nine days ago. We started with the wagyu barbacoa tacos which were full of flavor. I had the Silky Colada. The flavor profile was complex and unexpected, in the best way. My husband ordered a rum punch (off menu request) which was blood orange. We had the grilled jumbo prawns which were served head on and cooked to perfection. I had the squid ink tonnarelli. The pasta was also cooked perfectly and not salty like some squid ink pastas can be. I actually expected this to come with a white wine sauce adorned with tomato however, it was a pomodoro sauce. Not my personal preference to have a red sauce with seafood but it was still delicious. We had the coconut cream brûlée which was amazing and the ice cream cookie. The cream brûlée was served in quite a large shallow bowl and could have served at least two. It was so delicious that I nearly ate it all myself. Staff were very friendly and the service was good. We were not informed of the catch of the day and only noticed when overhearing another party ask. We were asked twice for our drink order and starters order due to some confusion between servers. The ambiance was incredible! The sun had already gone down but you could still make out the ocean. The path to the restaurant is cut through limestone…incredibly beautiful.

    Indy our server was phenomenal and was the highlight of our experience. He was professional, friendly, and attentive. I was disappointed they were out of the catch of the day, but the shrimp and steak were wonderful. The steak was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. We were very happy with the value of the meal and really enjoyed the ocean front dining. The grounds were beautiful.

    First breakfast on the island and I couldn’t have picked a better place ! Right on the beach , gorgeous secret walk down through sandstone walled pathway. Ambience , decor and service was top notch Food was delicious. Great options for gluten free for me also , which is so important Back there on Saturday for my 60th!!!

    Newly opened - I was there their 3rd night - but very promising! Lovely spot, and the Strand is top notch tasteful all around. Staff noticeably friendly and engaging without overdoing it. Menu has something for everyone and the food was excellent. Very, very pricey. A great addition to this side of the island, for sure.
