   I had the homemade tandoori chicken curry, it was outstanding. Service was first class. Great value for money too!

   We had a very tasty meal for 4 at the Deck , steaks , fish and chicken . It had been very busy earlier so some burgers were unavailable and there was only one curry left.It didn’t affect our choices . The staff were very good and polite . We enjoyed a very nice bottle of Chenin Blanc . The meal was very filling so we didn’t have puddings but the ones we saw looked delicious . The siding room was full but the tables are not so close that you are disturbed by other diners . Lovely view over the beach at Summerleaze when it’s daylight .

   We were disappointed that the skewers are not available on the winter menu. When we checked the website menu before booking they were available. Enjoyed our food once we had adjusted our choices for our vegetarian guest.

   Really great place to eat. The staff were really friendly and the food and cocktails were great. They even served a candle in the dessert we ordered for a birthday. Great place even on a cold, rain soaked night in February

   Amazing ribs. Great sized portion and the meat just dropped off the bone. The sauce was great too.

   Food was great although some dishes aren’t very big portions. You’re asked which sauces you would like with your food but are not told that they are chargeable so your bill soon adds up. Weren’t taking new orders when we arrived as busy so offered olives these were also charged.

    Fantastic family run restaurant,. Really friendly and attentive staff with delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, our favourite place to go out to eat in Bude! Highly recommend the Halloumi & Veg Skewers, with Garlic butter.
