The Cooperage was very busy when we arrived with many waiting for tables. We were seated promptly for our reservation and the noise level was pretty high with the restaurant full and the pull-down doors closed due to weather. Service was friendly but there were gaps in attention at times. We were not in a hurry, but our entrée orders was not taken until after we had finished eating our appetizers and it took a long time for our entrees to arrive compared to tables around ours. I am sure the busy night with a full house was a factor. Food was great, appetizers tuna tartare and brussels sprouts, entrees steak frites, fried chicken, ahi sandwich, and short ribs. The group enjoyed craft cocktails, wine and draft beer. Look forward to our next visit.

We miss the Lafayette location and ambience. Restaurant is extremely noisy and crowded with tables jammed together. Food is fine but just not the same cozy dining experience it once was. Way too loud inside for my enjoyment.

The food was dry and the menu is all over the place. The best looking thing I saw was my nephew’s grilled cheese and tomato soup.

We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday with our kids. Everything from the service to the cocktails to the cuisine was great. My 10 month old granddaughter also enjoyed the butter noodles.

Reservation for 7 - high tops but we were seated in the middle with no-back chairs. Luckily they had a spot in the main dining area instead. Great drinks and cocktails. We all ordered dinner and food came out in good time. Unfortunately one of us got raw chicken. They immediately fixed it but we took the dinner to go since it took some time to replace. My Chinese chicken salad was pretty good. Not too much dressing. Maybe slightly dry. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their dinner. They brought a nice ice cream dessert with a candle for a birthday. Parked at Macy's and walked through. Some of us parked at the bank. No ticket. 🙏

We keep coming back and expecting a better experience. Sadly the new location did not improve the value. Food was ok…but certainly not worth the cost. Two overcooked Salmon dishes (not $36 per plate of value) and one eggplant parm. Side dish of “seasonal veggies” (carrots and green beans looked and tasted right out of a Birdseye Frozen Food bag). The tuna tartar was good! Service was decent. Friendly and fast at first…a little less attentive as time wore on. Great location….they just need to upgrade the menu and value equation.

This was the third time back for the four of us and, again, great food and service! The only thing that needs to change is their website menu, which is different than in the restaurant. Our server said he keeps brining it to management’s attention.

Went on a Saturday night... Seems like food is a hit and miss. Food was thought out but execution was done poorly. Ordered a Espresso martini was surprised to see no foamy top and was on the heavy vodka side. Martini uses Kettle One Vodka (not my first choice for a premium cocktail) Also came with juniper berries instead of coffee beans on top. We also ordered Baked Goat Cheese (came with little slices of baguette which were not toasted and not enough came with the dish). Hubby ordered steak and frites and ordered medium rare (edges around steak was medium rare and the middle was raw) it also came with a underdressed side salad that did not belong on the plate. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie (came in a mini cast iron, was not creamy and was very liquidy they seem to rely on diced potato to sop up all the liquid and lacked salt). Finished with a creme brûlée (the top crust was hard and crunchy but the custard underneath was over heated and curdled from the heat applied to the crust). Overall service was slow and busy, we were left without a a steak knife and couldn't get refills on soda without waiting for a while. Restaurant was very busy and seating is not well thought out. Quite easy to get bumped into if you are at a high top by someone sitting at the bar. Overall this experience was a total miss, we noticed that the idea is there but the execution of the food and service at this restaurant
