   Food was wildly overpriced and the menu is waaaayy too precious. We both ordered the chicken breast and it was the size of the palm of my hand. We finished it by the time our next drink came which too forever. Waiter seemed to be in and out. Ambience is amazing. We've been coming here for a while and it doesn't seem to ever get any better. Unless they change the chef and the menu, making it more relatable, we will not be returning.

   They did not have a table ready for us when we arrived. But did some rearranging. Our server was great and food was wonderful.

   The cocktail was great and the ambiance was amazing. However, the chicken entree was almost inedible-- I was expecting a chicken breast, not a thin, dry, pounded out and rolled up tiny slice of breast with some flavorless sauce. The vegetables on the side were bitter and oniony. I left hungry and had to go get a second meal somewhere else. Also, my husband ordered an IPA and the waiter brought a lager and said you were out of IPA, which is understandable, but why assume a lager would replace it without asking? This meal was so expensive and the food did not live up to expectations.

   This is one of the most attractive spots in Palm Springs. However, when I went to the reception to give my name for the reservation, the host asked if it was a Jewish name. It happens that my last name may sound Jewish, but it in fact is Swedish. BUT my two friends with me, whom I had invited, did happen to be Jewish, and they were aghast at this bizarre remark and were highly insulted. It took a while at the table to relax. When does one go to a restaurant and be questioned about their religion? Who does that?

   $38 Eggs Benedict should at a minimum have properly poached eggs. We had two orders, and both had fudgy (and lukewarm) yolks.

   Beautiful restaurant tucked away in the courtyard, gorgeously appointed, great service. We were celebrating a birthday and offered free champagne for the table and a beautiful amuse bouche.
