Chef Larry Jayasekara has approached the project as a custodian, preserving and enhancing the 4-story building. Classically trained but undefined by any particular style, Larry offers a cuisine that, at its core, is all about the joy of eating. Given his 20 years of experience in fine dining, he has curated relationships with a select list of fishers and artisan producers to source the finest ingredients in Britain and overseas. With access to regenerative mixed farmland in Northamptonshire, The Cocochine kitchen enjoys fruit, vegetables, seasonal flowers and livestock, including game as well as native and rare-breed pigs direct from the farm. The menu features modern and refined dishes such as Tanera Island Poached Langoustine Leek, Morel, Lemongrass and 40-day Aged Rowler Estate Beef Fillet Maitake, Red Wine Jus.
Every element of the restaurant is considered, and the experience, from the outset and throughout, is about personal connection and old-school hospitality.

    Outstanding birthday dinner experience for my husbands 35th! They even gave him a personalised birthday card at the end of our meal - signed by the whole team. Cannot recommend this place enough, outstanding service and phenomenal food. Will be back <3

    The food is exquisite & sublime. The service attentive & kind. Though not swift, even though there were only 2 other customers present. No attempts made to use customers’ names. It gave the feeling they would prefer we were anonymous & were indifferent if we ever returned. The wine list is inspiring & delicious wine was served impeccably. As good a Negroni as I have ever tasted- and the most expensive £21-00. A fine spot for a table of 6 or bigger party, but a tad gloomy for just 2. But you won’t find better food in London!

    I stumbled upon this gem while on a trip to London and even more fortuitously wound up at the Chef’s counter upstairs. What a wonderful opportunity for a foodie to see the meal prep in process and speak directly with the chef. Most of their meat and produce comes from their own farm which only adds to the freshness and “story”. This is a three course pre fixe with wonderful amuse bouche to start. The freshly made bread is outstanding. The sommelier offered excellently paired wines by the glass. Petit fours after dessert were also not to be missed. None of this comes inexpensively, but that is par for the course (or three courses in this case). Some more inexpensive wines by the glass would be appreciated.

    My husband and I had an amazing time yesterday at The Cocochine. The food was a perfect example of what you call fine cuisine. The service was excellent too. Highly recommend for romantic dinner or any other special occasion.
