   Wheelchair access needs to be made more obvious or sign posted, would have prevented me from sitting outside the fire doors for 20mins on a December evening in the hope that a member of staff seen me. Quite cramped inside which meant I was disturbing other customers whenever I needed to use the disabled access. Junior staff were all friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome, which cannot be said for the guy in charge, who on the two occasions I've used the classroom has succeeded in making me feel very unwelcome. Service was also slow, table was booked for 6:30pm but did not receive meal until 8pm. Once I did receive my food, it was excellent but would have preferred a larger portion size.

   We enjoyed our early Monday evening dinner at great value price of £15 for 2 courses. The restaurant was very cosy and nicely decorated for Christmas. The food was excellent and brought promptly and piping hot. Well done to The Classroom staff.

   I use The Classroom on a regular basis (6 or7 times a year) mainly because I live nearby. The standard is consistently good for a fairly small establishment. The menu is not extensive but I have never had difficulty finding something suitable. Daily special are usually available. Today an early Christmas menu was available. Today my sister in law required something gluten free and had no difficult, equally my vegetarian nephew could choose from a selection of offerings. The prices charged are comparable with other similar styled restaurants in the area. I have always found the staff to be polite, well mannered whilst being professional The website is easy to negotiate. Easy to view online and book online.

   Menu:- ,Smaller selection on menu than expected, more pub grub style food than restaurant dining ( our dining group should have checked out menu before booking) Food :- well presented and was delicious Drink:- Women of the group started with cocktails we were impressed with selection and one of the best cocktails I've had in a while, they had a varied drink selection, as gin drinkers they had a varied choice which came to the table well presented. Service:- from ordering food to table was reasonable time especially as it was busy in the restaurant but the interaction with staff was very poor had different serving staff which I understood with it being busy but very standoffish attitudes like they didn't care. We asked for water when starters were served after asking on two separate occasions from two different members of staff we received it after main meals were eaten. When ordering our second round of drinks they forgot a tonic for one of the gins once we managed to get attention of a member of staff to inform them we got the distinct feeling we were being a bother and like the water took a while before tonic was brought to table, I do take into consideration it was busy but a little friendly banter and apologies does go a long way in service and also makes customers feel welcome, tip and return to restaurant. We would have stayed for a few more drinks but felt unwelcome so we paid, left and went to a different establishment.

   A lovely early dinner. Great atmosphere, fab service by all staff and lovely food and wine. Beautifully festive! A fine experience.
