   Sadly this place has very little to do with the now closed Chophouse in Ballsbridge. Few tables at the back of a pub with tvs with loud footbal on. Food wasn't good either. Staff on the other hand was very attentative and lovely.

   Had a fabulous lunch here - first time in The Chophouse Sandympunt and it was every bit as good as the original. Everyone’s food was perfect and we really enjoyed it. The fact that you can get a pint too was brilliant. We’ll definitely be back.

   Very disappointing experience! Food ranged from reasonably good to terrible (inedible slabs of fat). Two mains seemed to have been forgotten and finally arrived about 15 mins after the other meals.

   Food was enjoyable but room temperature was very cold .. we had food n didn't delay . Don't think we were only ones as noticed other customers jackets on shoulders on way out ...

   2 of the meals were barely eaten,(medallions of beef & the two people had specifically asked for a fillet steak) third meal was stodgy (linguine) & the fourth meal (salmon) average. All of our meals were obviously left standing & were cold. One of the people at the table had to go looking for someone to check on where was our food.

   Inexperienced staff, poor menu. Inexperience chef. Asked for charcuterie and cheese board, it came with fish pate, should have included better variety of meats. I expected chutneys and dipping oils, neither were included. How can such a simple dish be set out with incorrect components? Only answer is inexperience. Poor quality, poor service and overpriced. It explains why it was empty on a Saturday night
